Jelly Belly's Story...
Poor little Jelly Belly was turned in as a stray at a high kill shelter. She was in terrible shape and no one wanted this poor little girl. We rescued her and now she is safe and happy. We have her on a good diet and she is doing great. Jelly Belly is about 5 1/2 years old, and currently about 48 pounds. She is good with other dogs but likes to be in charge, so she would be best as an only dog or someone with bully breed experience. She likes to chase cats so a home without cats would be best. She can be shy at times when meeting new people but once she warms up, she will sit on your lap for pets and love. She is an active dog and will need an owner who has the time to train and exercise her. Jelly Belly is looking for someone who will love her forever.

He has been fully vetted and is starting to come out of his shell. We have teamed up with Hope For Paws to help find Freeway a forever home where he never has to be lost and scared again. Freeway is shy with new people and just needs time to adjust. He is sweet but still a little scared of what he went through. He is about 1- 1 1/2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He does great with other dogs and is good with cats too. He will likely do best in a home that is calm, no young children and someone who is patient.

Facts about Charlie
Breed: Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) Mix
Color: White - With Cream
Age: Adult- 3-4 years old
Size: Small- 9 pounds
I am already neutered, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative) flea & heartworm treated, blood panel, anesthetic dental cleaning, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Charlie was impounded at a high kill shelter because his owner was incarcerated. He was in pretty bad shape, very thin and had a long matted and dirty coat. For whatever reason, his owner did not come back for him. We rescued Charlie right before the busy 4th of July holiday when the shelter was very crowded.
Charlie is Maltese/Poodle "Maltipoo" mix, about 3-4 years old, and weighs 9 pounds. He is good with most other dogs but likes his space at times too and he has no reaction to cats. He is a little shy at first but once he gets to know you, he will follow you everywhere. He does have some separation anxiety and cries and barks a bit when left alone. So he would do best in a home where he is not left long hours. He would also do best in a calm household with no young children as he can get overwhelmed.
Charlie enjoys riding in the car and likes his walks. He is working on his potty training and is almost there. He needs someone to help build his confidence. We will not place him in a home with young children.
