Mazie is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, fecal and heartworm tested (negative), dewormed, flea/heartworm treated and has been professionally groomed.

Mazie was turned in to a high kill shelter as a stray. She was very dirty, matted and scared and was never claimed. We saved her and now she is safe. We believe that Mazie is a Maltese/Poodle and possible Terrier mix. She is non-shedding and will need to be groomed. Mazie is about 1 year old and weighs 13 pounds. She is great with other dogs and seems to do okay with cats. She loves to play with her dog friends and is an active girl who will require daily exercise. She would do best with another dog and no young children. She is almost housebroken and is crate trained.

Jelly Belly's Story...
Poor little Jelly Belly was turned in as a stray at a high kill shelter. She was in terrible shape and no one wanted this poor little girl. We rescued her and now she is safe and happy. We have her on a good diet and she is doing great. Jelly Belly is about 6 years old, and currently about 48 pounds. She is good with other dogs but likes to be in charge, so she would be best as an only dog or someone with bully breed experience. She likes to chase cats so a home without cats would be best.  She can be shy at times when meeting new people but once she warms up, she will sit on your lap for pets and love. She is an active dog and will need an owner who has the time to train and exercise her. Jelly Belly is looking for someone who will love her forever.

Raffi's Story:

Raffi was living a lonely life on the streets and was so scared  when he was rescued by Hope For Paws Rescue. They chased him for quite some time before they were finally able to catch him.  We teamed up with Hope For Paws to help find Raffi his forever home.  Raffi is shy with people he does not know but warms up once he gets to know you and feels safe.  He has limited hearing but he can hear louder sounds. He will need an experienced owner who is a strong pack leader as he needs guidance and someone to build his confidence.  Raffi loves other dogs and would do best with another confident dog that he can watch and learn from.  He is good with cats too. He will need a calm household where he is not left for long hours and no young children but calm older children are okay.  Raffi loves to go on walks and rides well in the car.

Hope's Story...

We rescued Hope from a high kill shelter and she was very thin, dirty and scared.  She has received a lot of TLC and is now happy and looking great.  Hope is approximately 3 years old and weighs 52 pounds. She is good with most other dogs but needs a strong pack leader.  She does get a little anxious on leash when meeting other dogs so she needs a slow and proper leash introduction.  She would do best as an only dog unless you have bully breed experience.  Hope loves to run and play and also loves cuddles! She loves her walks and is leash trained.  Hope will need a home that has the time to train a young dog and she will need plenty of daily exercise as she has a good deal of puppy energy. Hope loves all people but due to her size, we will not place her in a home with young children.
